Lab Zephites
One day, The ZenMother and her Party of Zendodos decided to take an adventure across Dodoland; in search of nothing more than simple joy and laughter. After taking a lovely stroll along the Cherrydale Trail, The ZenMother and her Zendodos found a cooling spot to enjoy the spoils they’ve brought for a grand picnic! Daplema took a hearty bite off his Michigan Hot Dog whilst Bailey served her friends with icy cold beer and well… Stone lit up another joint. “Ah.. What a time to be alive” thought The ZenMother, before conceding to the sleep monster chasing her all afternoon.
“Hey chunky, bet you can’t catch me!” The ZenMother was awoken by playful Theodore chiding Marystella into a game of Catch. With that, Theodore took off at full speed into the woods with Marystella hot on his heels. The ZenMother laughed and cried out, “Careful Theodore, we’re gonna catch you!”. She then called for the rest of her Zendodo Party to join her in chasing Theodore. The chase, however, didn’t last long. After following the beaten path of Theodore and Marystella for a short 5 minutes, they were greeted with a majestic clearing in the woods. There stood Theodore and Marystella, hand in hand, gawking at what seems to be a desolated citadel surrounded by towering pine trees. Without saying a word, The ZenMother and her Zendodo Party inched closer to citadel’s gate, eager to take a closer look. Plastered on the gate was a sign that read “Doomsman’s Estate, it’s time for you to turn around.”.
“I think we should go home now!” whispered Delilah. Cap’n McKraken took a step forward and bellowed, “A warrior fears nothing! I have conquered the seas and now, I shall conquer the land!” With a swing of his hook, he broke the lock on the gate and confidently made his way to the front door. However, regardless of the brute force used by Marystella and Bulldoze, the door just wouldn’t budge. Suddenly, Toddy the Mushroom shouted across the front yard, “Friends, check this out, it looks like a stairwell but there’s no way I’m heading down there!”. Toddy found a wooden shed by the side of the citadel and upon opening the door of the shed, it was a staircase that leads deep down into the earth.
“Nezuko, give us some light!” said The ZenMother. With a whirl of her short panda arms, a fiery energy ball appeared on her right hand. “Come on, what’cha waiting for? You can head first!” quavered Duke George IX. Step by step, the Party of Zendodo headed down the stairwell with sweat filling their foreheads and a chill that crept throughout their bodies. The journey down felt like forever.
The Zendodos were sure they were at least three levels beneath the ground when they entered a room that looks like a laboratory. The Zendodos stood there dumbfounded as their eyes darted around the room before fixating their gaze on the cages at the corner of the room. There were creatures that looked like Zendodos trapped in those little cages! The Party of Zendodos, with their jaws dropped, turn to look at The ZenMother. But before anyone could let out another breath, an evil laughter filled the Lab. “I see you’ve found my secret Lab”, snarled the evil scientist, Freddy Doomsman.
Lab Zephites
Zephites are the creatures that Freddy Doomsman spent his life creating. With a sinister vibe that follows their creators, they need a saviour like you, Valiant Heroes, to save them and show that a home. However, Freddy Doomsman won’t give them away for free. He desires for those shiny ZENDI Coins of yours to refurbish his Citadel.
The Zephites, under the right leadership, has the potential to be as powerful or even more powerful than Zendodos. With the right motivation, Zephites can also help you Rally more Zendodos and Mine for ZENDI Coins! These Zephites will count towards the Unique Zendodos you own and increase your chances at winning our Weekly Rewards.
Each Lab Batch produced by Freddy has 7 Evolutions of Zephites, with Power ranging from 2 to 1,500. Above is sneak peak of the first 4 Zephites from his Lab Batch 1!
Purchasing Zephites
Zephites can only be bought from Kalea’s Tiki Hut using ZENDI Coins. For a start, we will be having a 3-Zephites pack that costs 50 ZENDIs. Only the first 3 Evolutions of Zephites can be obtained from the packs with the draw odds stated above!
From Team Zendodo’s simulation on the Purchase and Zapping of Zephites, the initial costs of Zephites will be comparable to Zendodos (although will still be dependent on the price of ZENDIs). However, as Heroes begin to Zap their Zephites into higher evolutions, Zephites will begin to cost a premium as the power boost from an Evolution VII Zephite (with 1,500 Power) will be extremely valuable!
Zapping Zephites
To evolve your Zephites, Heroes will have to bring 2 of the same Zephites over to the Zap Lab owned by Freddy Doomsman. He will use his Zapernator 9000 in an attempt to evolve your Zephites and each use of his laboratory device costs 5 ZENDIs.
“Evolving Zephites is not an easy feat and with my tech still in development, I cannot assure you every Zap attempt will be successful!” claims Freddy.
Heroes are able to see Freddy’s historic Zap attempts below:
Heroes are able to see that not all Zappings of Zephites will be successful. In the event luck is in your favour and your Zap is successful, your 2 Zephites will be burned 🔥 and a new, higher evolution Zephite will be minted for you. However, in the event the Zap is unsuccessful, the the higher mint Zephite will be burned 🔥 and the lower mint Zephite will be returned to you.
Zap at your Own Risk Heroes! 💀
Zapping Potions
Getting higher evolution Zephites isn’t an easy task, especially with the lower success rates! In the future, once our Zap Lab is launched, Heroes will also be able to purchase Zapping Potions to increase your odds of a successful Zap. This will be the cost of the Zapping Potions:
- Zapping Potion I (10% increase in Success Rate) — 50 ZENDIs
- Zapping Potion II (15% increase in Success Rate) — 150 ZENDIs
- Zapping Potion III (20% increase in Success Rate) — 400 ZENDIs
A press release from the Statistical Bureau of Dodoland:
Understanding the imminent desire of Heroes to utilise Freddy Doomsman’s Zapernator 9000, this Bureau is determined to protect Heroes’ interest in preserving their beloved Zephites. Hence, the Bureau has conducted multiple statistical analysis on Mr Doomsman’s historical results and the cost of obtaining his Zapping Potions. After further analysis, the Bureau has identified that Zapping Potion will begin to be cost effective once Heroes begin to Zap Zephites from Evolution IV to Evolution V. In addition, there is material and exponential saving in costs once Heroes would like to Zap past Evolution V. Additionally, it will not be cost efficient and will be more expensive when using Zapping Potions for Evolution III and below.
